Developing environmental connections through education
Eco-Logic promotes a connection with the 'place' through experiential education.
Thousands of students each year come on camp to Anglesea on Victoria's Great Ocean Road. We engage these groups and facilitate thinking about a wide range of environmental perspectives, from a wide range of environmental situations. Whether it be handling a crab on the rocky shore, or quietly observing nocturnal animals during the moonlit hours, many students have experiences that are meaningful, life-long and highly developmental. We teach a respect for the environment as a whole, by connecting with and experiencing just a small part during each activity.
More recently, we have been able to offer a professional environmental consulting service for companies and individuals in the region that require these services. Eco-Logic staff are often multi-disciplinary, and combine educational with professional environmental science qualifications. Coupled with an intimate knowledge of the coast, we can provide specialised knowledge and outcomes on a wide variety of environmental consulting requirements. Eco-Logic has the advantage of being located on the coast for over 15 years, and has a highly developed network of contacts throughout the local authorities, which helps to ensure the best possible outcomes in the least amount of time.
